Paradise Island Divers is proud to have the opportunity to offer you the most in-depth Open Water Certification available in the Southeast United States today.  Our Staff with over 50 years of instructional experience combined with our ultramodern dive facility will personally introduce you to the new underwater world of SCUBA diving.

  .100' SSI Open Water Level SCUBA Class:  Let US take you down, UNDERWATER that is to experience a whole new world.  With today's busy left style, being able to dedicate 2 nights a week  or 6 hours straight on the weekends has become virtually impossible.  We have come up with the Home Study course which enables you to do your classroom  studies in the convenience of your own home and then you are only required to visit Paradise Island Divers for your 4 pool sessions of 3 3/4 hours each. 

Tuition $399.99 Per Diver Candidate

- Complete SSI/NASDS Open Water Diver Educational Packet.

- 5 Weeks intensive, but "FUN", classroom review and pool.

Advanced Specialty Classes

August 26th & 28st, 2008 – NEW Night Dive Class:   Ever get lost in the dark?  Learn the right way to enjoy Night Diving and see a whole new world on the reef when it’s dark.  The classroom portion of this Advanced Specialty Class will be on Tuesday, Augtust 26th, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.  Tuition is $135.00 and includes a C-4 light with batteries, chemical light stick, SSI Night Diving textbook.  Open Water for this Night Dive Class is Thursday, August 28th leaving the shop at 4:00 PM.

August 27, 2008  – Boat–Wreck–Deep Specialty Class:   Join Wayne Moose, DCSI2352, for one of our most interesting and thorough classes taught in the US today “Boat–Wreck–Deep”.  This class is a must for any diver who wants to dive the more aggressive and deeper wrecks that offer artifacts galore.  Join us and sign up.  Tuition is only $299.99 for all 3 specialties.  Call if you have any further questions.

ANDI Limited User Sport Diver Nitrox Class - TBA:   Wayne Moose will host the ANDI Limited User Nitrox class TBA.  This class is a must for the recreational Sport Diver who wants to be “safer” and enjoy longer bottom times and increased energy levels.  Class Tuition is $155.00 plus Nitrox fills for Open Water. Must have a Nitrox programmable dive computer.  Call today to reserve your spot!

SSI Stress & Rescue Class Information Night - TBA:  For the class that will give you 5 certifications in 1.  CPR, First Aid, Defib, Dan O2, Stress & Rescue all for only $299.99.  Two Open Water Dives are required but not included in the tuition.  Mark you calendar and plan to attend.  Space is limited so don’t be left out!

Equipment Specialty & Repair Course - TBA:   Join Wayne Moose on an informal information night on TBA to explain this course, context, time frame, experience, and enroll interested individuals. Don’t loose a dive, don’t be uninformed when it comes to the 3 pieces of diving equipment known as your “Life Support System” (i.e.: BCD, ADS, and cylinder). What is right and wrong and how to troubleshoot basic dive equipment problems. This course is a must for Dive Masters, Dive Cons, Assistant Instructors and Instructors alike. Be prepared and informed. Space is limited.

Underwater Navigation - TBA:  Get lost underwater?  Depend on your buddy?  Lose the boat?  Well come by Paradise Island Divers and sign up for Under Water Navigation Class, taught by Wayne Moose.  Wayne unlocks the mystery of navigation with a compass (directional monitor) on land and underwater to such a point its FUN, exciting and rewarding.  The class is $199.99 which includes text, instruction and 2 open water dives.
